Is anyone going to the Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival in Estes Park, CO Sept 4th-7th? I am including this on my trip to see family that live north of the Red River, looks like it is a good festival to attend

I'm not going this year, but I went 4 straight years a few seasons ago. It is well worth attending. Be attentive to the weather forecast, and if you are not used to high elevations, then hydrate with plenty of water first (before the beer) as you may experience an unusually strong thirst the first day.
Thanks Jack, I will be camping at Mary's Lake. I always have plenty of water.
I do go a lot. Great time

if there are several of us there maybe we can get a group picture? do they have a "Calling of The Clans" type of event sometime during the event?
The best part of this festival is the main street parade by Clan lots of folks come to watch. It cost a little more than I expected $25.00 per day. Yes they also have the gathering of the clans.

I'll be in Estes Saturday, but won't attend the games until I compete with the lightweights on Sunday. We usually catch a 1 hour break around noon, but not much chance to get away during the rest of the day. Stop by the athletic field and heckle me--I'll be the little guy in the purple kilt.

I am not going to be able to make it, went to eye Dr. for new script for glasses as I was having problems, well a new script wont help but cataract surgery will is on 9-4 then 9-11. bad I will miss the event but great that I will be able to see better "LOL"
I will be there. Bummed to see the VIP ticket is a whopping $225. I will not be able to go to any of the concerts as I will be doing clan things.
