Simon, if you have a special event, I'd be delighted to lend you the Artificer Sporran. I know that it would be in very safe hands.

John that is an incredibly generous offer and I thank you. I would of course come and collect it in person so that we can share a wee dram or two. The next holiday i have in Scotland I hope to base on Skye so hopefully we shall meet ere long.

    Well done!
Actually John the buttons I ordered from China, I couldn't find any that I liked in the UK so I trawled the internet for them, the waistcoat is just one of my tweed waistcoats from another outfit I have, as pictured in my avatar, I just thought the contrasting colour would look good. The wing collar was an eBay find, cost me all of £3.00 and the gold coloured cravat was a Christmas present last year.

I do have a other waistcoats and a really fancy one, again made by lady Chrystel, when I get the chance I will don the ensemble for greater effect.

I would like to exchange the cravat for a neck tie but am struggling to find one long enough for my 20" neck, am not really into Jabots so I might take a trip to the fabric warehouse for a strip of silk at some stage.

Bravo Simon and Kudos to Lady Chrystel for the creation. I do like the contast between the jacket and waistcoat and look forward to seeing the whole rig, when you have the time. Congratulations on a fine acquisition mate. Cheers

Cheers Mike, when I can do the kilt justice as well as giants of the kilt world, such as yourself then I will afford myself a wee smile.

Good timing there Simon. Just in time to match the heather coming into full bloom!
