My best wishes. The year after I lost my father were dreadful for me. It was unexpected and there was a whole new relationship with my mother, who had been very close and dependent of him.
Funnily enough, after my mother died, I didn't experience the dreadful depression I'd known with my father' loss. I'd known she'd had a terminal condition for four months, she admitted from the first it was terminal and I spent as much time as I could with her in her care home.
You probably will know deep unhappiness at the loss of your father. Don't try to deny your sense of loss - so many nowadays talk of a funeral as a "celebration of the life of .." and deny the natural need for mourning. Find your own way to cope with this loss, but don't be ashamed or surprised at feelings of depression. They can be horrible, but they are the price of love.
I hope you find a way of coping, as I hope I have.

JohnnieBoots,
My sympathy to you and the remainder of your family. As you are busy with doing all the things associated with a passing of a parent, remember to take time for yourself to heal too. It is ok to grieve, and it is ok to look after yourself. Best hope that soon things will be better for you.

My condolences.
And when thyself with shining foot shall pass
Among the guests star-scattered on the grass
And in thy joyous errand reach the spot
Where I made one – turn down an empty glass.

My deepest sympathies. I'm not good with words, but grandad was, and had this read at his wake. I hope it gives you some comfort.
Passing the Bar
Alfred, Lord Tennyson
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.
