I haven't seen much of his work, but I must say he looks good in the casual french male model kind of way. I really like his boots too.

I just finished watching Broadchurch, which I borrowed from the library. Very good 8 part series. Glad to see Tennant sporting the MacDonald Modern. I would like his outfit better either with a black bow tie or without the PC. I'm also not much of a fan of the boots with traditional kilts, but that is just me.

Tennant is a very , very good actor , underestimated after being Dr.Who , a gifted individual.

To be perfectly honest, it looks to me as though he threw his outfit together with bits pulled out of someone's dress-up box. I'm all for innovation in highland dress, when it is done respectfully, but not when, as here, it becomes a parody of highland dress. This sort of thing just reinforces the view that highland dress is nothing but a costume.
By the way, I'm also a fan of Tennant's acting.

Mr. Tennant looks like an unmade bed. His acting skills and fans notwithstanding.

Had he left the jacket off, it would have looked far better and likely rather striking. Outfit simply appears odd as it is. Not a style I'd follow, especially with such a fine looking and well turned out lady on the arm.

Interesting choice of buttons for the PC, but I would not have worn the boots. The beard look he's sporting appears overly contrived to me, but to each his own.

He had that same scruffy hang-dog look for Broadchurch.
I really enjoyed Broadchurch, and Tennant in it.
Nice to hear his own accent.
Oddly, Dr Who featured two Scottish-born actors playing non-Scots, one an Englishman and one an American.
I don't care for Tennant's outfit there. It just doesn't look 'pulled together'. A change of hose and shirt would have done wonders.

I haven't seen a lot of his other stuff but I loved him as Dr. Who. I did see a couple of episodes of the cop show he did right after being the Dr. and what I saw was pretty good.

Speaking of Broadchurch, the series is being remade in a USA locale with Mr. Tennant reprising his role, as an American detective. Grace Point, I think it's called.
