    Fresh from the Newbie Section!

    G'day, as it were.

I'm new here but was very overwhelmed at the responses from new Newbie thread! The enthusiasm and welcoming people were refreshing to say the least.

I have a few pictures from the years of my kilt ownerships. Only missing pictures from early, military dress ensemble. Which may follow at some point after some searching.

First is my singing with my punk rock band: The Miscreantz. No longer together, but our symbol, a spikey haired rampant lion holding a beer bottle lives on!
With old combat boots, my utility kilt was a hit at St.Patrick's day!

Second is my Sport Kilt! MacDonald tartan, matching my old Infantry Reservist Regiment. Plain sporran. I was happy.

My current and favourite however! Acrylic plain black. Really like this sporran. Doing to a wedding, holding my missus' shoes, Nova Scotia tartan tie and flashes (not shown).

That's my collection in a nut shell so far!
Really want a Poly viscose Maple Leaf Tartan next. THEN a Nova Scotia tartan "legit wool" kilt.

NOTE: Also not sure how to attach photos that you don't need to click on to see... I'll learn it.

We're working on the photo problem, Pit Rat; it's a recent glitch. Meanwhile, good to meet you photographically!

Brother Hawk, I believe our new members will be willing to go the extra step for photos. I am confident the photo problem will work out soon. I know your time is precious due to the hectic schedule you keep and the demands for your attention. We feel your frustration. Pit Rat looks like he can hold his own in conflict and entertainment (and be smiling while kilted).
