Hello
My names Anthony, I'm 43 living in Los Angeles.
I've wanted a kilt for at least a decade.
I finally took the leap and placed an order for a Mocker on Sep. 1st. Then bought a Neo-Traditional while at the Folsom Street fair end of Sept., and received the Pittsburgh kilt I ordered on the 1st of Oct. this week (have yet to receive the Mocker).
I plane to stop this afternoon and purchase black 12 oz. cotton twill and try my hand at making a couple of kilts myself.
Is buying three kilts in a month, obsessive/compulsive?
Be well,
Anthony

obsessive? compulsive?
I'd buy a new kilt every day if I could afford to.

Welcome, Anthony!
If you're asking about obsession, you've picked a very fair and unbiased representative population of raving obsessives to answer your question
I'll rationalize it as follows: Don't think of it as a month, think of it as 10 years *** month. You're really an exceptionally slow and deliberate kilt connoisseur!

I don't think it is. Once a year I would go to the department store and get myself 2-3 pair of work pants .

Welcome to the forum, Anthony. I think bcmtnbka has a good point. A kilt is clothing, so it's no more unusual to buy 3 or 4 kilts, when most people buy 3 or 4 trousers. The only difference I see is price, although I guess some trousers can be quite pricey too.

with trousers the changing in dress goes first of all from shirts and what worn on torso. poeple may have a few trousers but many shirts.
with the kilt its the oppposite. when i could i also would buy so many kilts... so with kilts we have a lot of different colours and types but compared i only need a few standard coloured shirts to fit with.
i think the kilt is more dominant than trousers, so it turns the relation with shirts.
