Great post! This line got my attention. I don't think I would have picked it up in a conversation.
I think you make some very good points about double standards. A man could never do some of the things that happened to you, yet women think they can get away with it.
Don't let them wear you down. Keep on kilting!

I can understand your situation. For the same reason, I could never wear a kilt at work.
But who wants a blast of chemicals up your kilt?

As John Nash, Nobel Prize winner and schizophrenic, proved - schizophrenia has nothing to do with intelligence (see A Beautiful Mind). But you're right, it is ironic.
And yes, sadly, management lets that lady talk like that to clients too...she's even won rounds with the chairman of the board...go figure.
Thanks for the support and observations...woke up this morning realizing I have an opportunity to show up at work kilted again Monday morning...instead of making it a casual Friday thing....the few remaining brain cells in my besotted mind are lining up and beginning to hatch a plan....

great story bro, you handled yourself well.
I don't usually read long posts, but this was a good one.
go for it next friday.
as far as the women go and their comments, I have said this all along, if I said the same to a woman as she said to me I'd get arrested.
can you imagine putting your hand up a womans skirt to have a feel? what would she do?
I was accosted last night in the pub by some drunken woman, well over 60,
"I'm scotch" she said, insisted a few times on knowing what was under my kilt, and grabbing at it.

Interesting that a drunken woman would insist that she is "scotch," that is, that she is whiskey.

mulling over posts....
I'm beginning to think that a man in a kilt is a test of a woman's character. Particularly when she does something as intrusive as actually lifting up the kilt.

Well, like they say. You are what you eat, or rather drink.

Good on ya Ron. I have to admit that I don't know if I"d have kept my cool with the office beast that kept making the nylons comment. Time together or not. Once is fine, maybe twice if you're good friends, anymore then that and to me, it's an obvious lack of respect. I give you the credit you deserve, way to keep your cool.

I got that from one or two folks that have seen pictures of me. You're right, it's the best.
