Rebagged nickel plated MOD cantle
Here's a Mod cantle I picked up that I had nickel plated. I decided I wanted a dress sporran so I decided on a black minelli side for the leather. Very nice even grain and very supple. I lined it with red suede and went with the vintage braid and tassel. A fun and quick project.

Fantastic!
That's the great thing about those cantles, the switchability. (Just coined a word, according to spell check.)
I'd like to see what that nickel-plated cantle would look like with a fur body, fox, say. I can see it in my mind, it would be a top-drawer Evening sporran.

Yes Richard, I thought the same thing! The nice thing about those cantles is you take off 4 clips and in minutes you can convert the bag to a fur front bag. Switchability! I may just make another bag just to see!
