What to wear for Easter

I'd say a definite "No" to the Saxon jacket; far better no jacket than one cut for a different garment than the kilt. It just doesn't go together.

I agree with Anne too - lighter colours perhaps. Ties (if you wear one) should be plain or striped. Don't try ever to match your tie to your kilt.

To echo off with the others.. Yeah, I wouldn't wear that jacket. It doesn't look right with your kilt.

Heed Anne's advice. You need some lighter colors on you.

I plan to wear my American Heritage tartan kilt, lovatt blue, ancient blue tie, white shirt, and black vest for tomorrow. Light it up, my kilted brother.

Thank you for all the advice on what to wear, I took the advice of wearing a brighter shirt and tie. The brightest pair of kilt hose I had were a dark green, but I thought they went quite well with my kilt color(the pair of kilt hose I would really like to get are Wool Aran hose but I haven't found any for sale). I have a blackthorn cane that my grandfather made for me in the photo because my birthday was coming up but he gave it to me early for the photo

Well done you looked great, very nice stick you have there, as the years go on I find the piece that have some family connection are the ones I am drawn to so I am sure you will get lots of use from that stick. I also look forward to seeing your crommach when its done.
