I wanted to put an "aye" on almost every post, but it was not available except on the last two or three. Weird. A big AYE for the thread.
Also, very interesting to discover no alcohol in that fabulous photo that is the favorite of so many. An excellent underlining to Jock Scot's
point about not jumping to conclusions based on one photo. Sort of instant karma.

I love seeing tartan doublets. I have noticed that one North American "designer" clothing line recently showed a large sett version of a Royal Stewart jacket- in a trendy shorter cut that is still too long for a kilt, but maybe adaptable. What say the rabble? For the dressier class of goat-ropings, dog fights, etc?

I'm not planning to attend any goat-ropings or dog fights this year, so - not for me.

There's nae goat roping like a formal highland goat roping

Too tell the truth, they lost me at "slim fit", but I do love the large sett. Sorry for the threadjacking...
Some take the high road and some take the low road. Who's in the gutter? MacLowlife
