    Question fir Rocky..

Hey Rocky! Getting ready to order my very first kilt (with a rush order) and was wondering if you could answer a question for me. What is best for belts with the casual? 2.5, would that be too big? Also, Im gonna end up ordering the kilt first and then ordering stuff like Sporran and kilt pin and belt later. How fast are the accessories shipped out? I want to have all of the accessories before October 15 for the Highland games.

Another question...if I don't have the belt before the games, is it a faux pas to not wear a belt with it?

Sorry for the dumb questions, but I just don't know the answers and don't want to look stupid.

    Good questions!

If you're going to wear the kilt at your traditional waist (above belly button), then get the larger loops and wear a kilt belt. If you're wearing it like a pair of jeans, then get the 1.5" loops and wear with a 1.5" belt. If you aren't quite sure, get our "double loops".

Accessories are generally shipped out within 24 hours, so long as they're in stock and not special order. Most clan crest items are special order. Most sporrans, belts, kilt pins, hose, etc are held in sufficient quantity that we don't run out.

    I hope these answers help!

Thanks Rocky! As for the belt, Im kind f an in between jeans wearer. I wear my jeans a little under my belly button or between my waist and my belly button. I have lost 120 pounds n the past year and I'm finding new ways to wear clothes. So, just to get this straight, the edge of the top of the kilt should be above the belly button or the middle of the upper portion of the kilt?

I wear my dress pants where I wear my jeans now as well...as you can imagine with that weight loss, I have a little extra skin around the waist that helps hold up my pants...LOL. The pants fit comfortable below and between the belly button and the waist.

So...like I said, I'm an in between guy. LOL. Am I beyond help?

No, you're not beyond help. For our Casual kilt, since it's meant to be worn casually, you can wear it wherever you want (height wise).
