Some interestingly rather vehement sentiment
against braces I've just read here. It would
do to remember that Highland Dancers wear braces/
suspenders all the time with a kilt and it looks
great to me. I confess to wearing them as well
although my preference is to cover them with a sweater. Still remember the highland dancers pull
it off quite well. I see from your little avatar
picture that you are a bit round like I am as well
and hence the security of braces feels great with pants/trouser or kilt as well. At least that's what
I have found. I say go for it. If we can mess with
the look of kilts with Utilikilts and the like I see absolutely no reason not to go with the braces as well. Just my opinion.
