I LOVE the top-right sporran in brown leather with the fur front and leather tassels. I hope to find one for my daywear sporran. Seems perfect. Or a McRostie...

Here's a collage giving an impression of the AZSF family

Yes I love that one too!
Some makers still offer the AZSF style (though they might not call it that) and I'm sure it could be ordered with fur front.
The problem is it's illegal to import sealskin things into the USA.
Used ones, already within our borders, come up on Ebay, but rarely.

I took a risk with the L&M sporran you linked in the prior post - price was too good to pass up. We'll see if it makes it from the great white north down to California - will report back in a week or two.

Cool!
Here's a charity-shop listed vintage classic traditional brown "day" sporran for under $50 when you count the post to the US, it would probably be less in the UK.

What's interesting is the pattern of the stamps around the edges.
Generally these were a flower-like design, but this one is the rarely-seen ancient "goddess-eye" pattern, nowadays generally called "bullseye".

Not my cup of tea, a post-traditional "semi-dress" sporran, at just over $50 including shipping.
Has the usual gold oval Made In Scotland Real Leather stamp.

Prior to the rise of kilt hire this sporran was made in brown leather with leather tassels; in black, with Evening chained tassels, it is hired with black Argyll or Prince Charlie.

Looks a bit small, rather like a youth's sporran.

You may be right, hard to tell sometimes when there are no dimensions given.
To my eye the sizes of the snap, chains, and bells seem in proportion for an adult sporran.
Generally they use the same size snap for the youth and child sporrans, so they look bigger in proportion.

Here's what appears to be a nice example of a brown regimental style day sporran, complete with RRS badge and a leather strap, all for around $50, shipped to the US.
Pictures are detailed. Stamp is shown and dated. I bet this won't be up long.

The L&M Highland Dress Sporran came in this week. Having trouble uploading lately, so pics here.
It's in fantastic shape, and I'm quite pleased. My budget PC outfit is coming together quite nicely!
