Black Watch Pictures
I just posted some pictures in the Random kilt Pictures Gallery. These photos actually came from Magnus's (thanks Magnus) multiply group for kilt loving ladies http://kiltfetish.multiply.com/
The Black Watch painting looks like one I have seen of the Plains of Abraham.

The two photos of HM the Queen Mother inspecting the troops are of the Toronto Scottish Regiment, because the "jocks" are wearing Hodden grey kilts. The Toronto Scottish were allied with the London Scottish, a British Army Territorial unit that also wore Hodden Grey kilts and doublets. Lord Elcho, the founder of the London Scottish, chose the Hodden Grey as a sort of camoflague, since Scottish ghillies wore dark tweeds whilst stalking, and that way there would be no "clan rivalry", like there might be with choosing a tartan.
The late Queen Mother (may she rest in peace) was the Colonel-in-Chief to both the Toronto & London Scottish, and her personal piper was usually a London Scottish piper.
Both photos of the Queen Mother can be found on the second link.

I think the other picture may be from the 19th century, since the jocks are wearing the white cork pith helmets that British soldiers wore when serving in Africa & India, and looks like they are wearing the white buff leather slade-wallace belts from the 1880s' -- this might be from the 1st Boer War in the 1880's or the Sudan.
Cheers,
T.
