    Public release of new model

Freedom Kilts is releasing it's newest model kilt.

I am calling it the Casual Model vs the Cargo Model.

This new kilt has 1" pleats vs the 2" which are on the Cargo model.

I have included pics in the Freedom Kilts gallery.

    1. Front showing the new wider and tapered apron.
    2. Rear showing the 1" pleats and rear Double Welt Pocket Option.
    3. Right Side
    4. Left Side
    5. Left side showing the 3" depth of the pleats and the location of the Side Slash Pocket Option.

The new model is available now to X Marks members (pm me for pricing) and to the general public as soon as I can break my webmaster away from his other jobs to update the site.

    Wow!
That's a nice looking kilt, Steve!
It's not overdone with pockets and, with the narrower pleats, retains classic kilt styling.
I've seen the quality of your work, so it's not a surprise to see the taper on the front apron. I can tell it's going to retain shape with someone in the kilt, which has always been the problem with this style of kilt.
    Well done!

Very nice looking kilt Steve. Like Bear, I too have seen the quality of your work, so I can tell this will be one fantastic kilt. For all of you guys still thinking about which plain coloured or cammo kilt to get, have a really good look at Freedom Kilts.

Yes, that is the new Olive. The same I am using on your kilt. Of course, this one, the casual, uses 8.15 yards of fabric where yours, the cargo model, uses 6.60.
I just weighed the Casual and it weighs 4.35 lbs, .02 lb less that my 13 oz. wool tank.

Oh, it DOES look good, but I'm still taken by the larger pleats myself ;) (and hopefully only about another month to wait for this!)

    Jumping jewish jayzus!

That's so much better than I pictured it looking.
I'm so glad you suggested I order one of these, Steve.

I'm still going to eat all of your cookies, though.
