A great evening...
with 1300 of my closest co-workers. :P
The City of Calgary held an employee appreciation party tonight for all of it's Transit employees. A huge catered event with a fantastic live band. As our training class graduates this coming Monday we were invited to attend.
It was a semi-casual affair and I was the only one wearing a kilt. I heard a few nice comments about it, but for the most part no-one said a thing. A typical non-event. Gotta love it!

I sure am! We have our graduation exercises on Monday, then I get Tuesday & Wednesday off, then right into work on Thursday. Woohoo!!

No kilts on the job...yet. I'll have to work on them for that. I don't know if the union will back me on the idea though. LOL
