A Couple of Things Important To Me
Folks,
A couple of things....
The last two weeks have been active. We, meaning the Mrs. & I, now have a forth Grandchild and #3 Grand Son. He is very cool. My son Patrick, and his wife, Jennifer, have named him "Aiden Grey". How cool is that?
Kilts are foremost in my mind. Everyday. Kilts encompass my every thought. Almost.
I have recently become the caretaker of a 2002 Rickenbacker 360/12 Fireglo. I don't expect everyone to realize the signifigance. However, to those that may be un-initiated, the Rickenbacker 360/12, at least to me, is the Holy Grail of musical instruments. The Ric 360/12 "is" the music we grew up with.
The Rickenbacker 360/12 embodies the essence of the "British Invasion" music created during the 60's. George Harrison received the second made Rickenbacker 360/12. I now own # 38128. a 2002 model. The 360/12 is the driving force behind The Byrds, The Beatles, of Roger McGuinn and many, many bands of that era.
I hope you guys don't mind I have let go my dreams of a hand made 16oz MacEwan for a while. Some things just take presidence.

The Wilbury's were cool. The Woodfellow's are what made them cool
Soon to be on track, The Woodfellows will rock all that has rocked and all that will rock!
Thanks for listening and especially for understanding.

What!!!! You dare to put something before the purchase of another kilt!!! How dare you!!! I believe the moderators should forever ban you from this board and pass your name to other boards so that you will similarly banned forever!!!
Just kidding.;) Congratulations on your acquisition.

Oh, yeah, I get the significance.
And it wasn't a tough call. The opportunity to get a Ric is one not to be missed. You just have to start back at the beginning for the kilt, or however much change/credit you've got left. When you're ready, you can order a kilt from any number of places. A Ric, that one, well, good for you.

Ambrose.... NICE PICK UP!!!!!
Kilts, schmilts. How often do you get the opportunity to grab one of those babies?!!!
My personal favorite, Elvis, owned three. They're still displayed in his museum. I've often wondered how thick that glass was, and how fast the guards were.

Security IR has to be laid out in straight lines. Lowest one will be about cat height. They can be detected with baby powder.
Pay no attention to this.
Trying to stay on topic, any pics of Elvis in a kilt?

I know the feeling, either get a new tattoo or a kilt, but a guitar, yeah, I would put that on the top of the list.

Hi, awoodfellow!
I once made an amp case for Top Topham - first lead guitarist of the Yardbirds, and now deeply into Blues and stuff. I think he uses a Stratocaster, though.

Awoodfellow, as a fellow guitarist I know we all get GAS (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome) sometimes. My son got GAS today in fact and bought his first (a Schecter C-1 Artist). When a guy gets GAS he's gotta do whatever it takes to get relief. ;)

I used to get gas daily, but my doctor solved that problem with a new diet and medication.
