    Aargh! Those are horrible!

Anyway- men's clothing is often better made than women's clothing, owing to the disposable fashion idea that it's only going to be hip for a year anyway... (obviously, stuff like Lands End and other classic pieces are better, but on the whole, still tend to last longer for men) and most importantly- we look cute as hell in your white shirts.
Another acute observation by Shay. But white drains all the color (what I have of it --you'd never know I have NA genes from my skin color) from me, so I prefer the flannels.

...and the ladies have left out that men's products are usually cheaper for similar items, an issue which is being addressed by Canadian Human Rights, cool.

From my friend, the doctor told him to get in shape, friend chose "round".

    From the yahoo dictionary
Dionysus thus came to be considered a patron of the arts. He was variously represented as a full-grown bearded man, as a beast, and as a delicate, effeminate youth.

I think societal body image thing has probably always been around, however, people in the past just didn't have the amount of media that there is today surrounding it. Look at Venetian art like the statue of David which semi-represent a ‘perfect’ form of the male body

Today we get our ideas of what a perfect body should look like from movies and television which skews our perception of reality. The celebrities look perfect on the screen due to professional makeup, professional hair, proper lighting and good camera work, However, in real life they are usually are no where near as attractive.

Very true- there is a great article about this, JL Curtis took two photo shoots- one that was all her, and one that Hollywoodized. It's kind of spooky.
