government employees...
Please remember gents that some of us on this forum are government employees -- I for one am proud of my service to my country as a seasonal park ranger with the US National Park Service, making sure that the story of the Civil War and the 537 Americans who gave their lives at the Battle of Wilson's Creek are not forgotten.
Rant off.

Sorry!
I was replying to the previous comment (Hopefully Humorously), not trying to state that ALL are that way.
There is a great need for Civil Servants, the great majority of which are hard workers, though a few tend to give them all a bad rap.

I've known my share of them...but at times "we" tend to get lumped into the fold with them as well. ;)

You're welcome to all, bureaucrats included. ;-)
Who thinks of rangers as bureaucrats anyway? Rangers are helpful & dashing in their uniforms. No bureaucrats there. :-P

My apologies to all. My humor is directed at the system, not the individuals. Now, lets get back on track.
Thanks for the updates.

Updates,,,Bill Fernie, a Highland Councilor, runs one of the best community websites on the internet. He had posted a link to the petition last week, and now that the Scotsman article has run,,,,has posted it again on the front page.
