Canadian Highland Games

My fellow Canadians. This is the most comprehensive list I have found for Canadian highland games and Celtic Festivals. I know we have one here but this one already exists and is up dated on a regular basis. I would be taking the information from this site to the xmarks site and I'm short on time.

It is the Canadian Bagpipe links . And links the event to the website and contacts. It is broken down by province and is very easy to follow
The Sarnia Highland games have been canceled ...the descision happened last week. So there is a hole in August...too bad really
The next event I will be attending is in Callander just South of North Bay Ontario. http://www.celtfest.org/ This is happening this upcoming weekend June 2nd and 3rd

I doubt I will see any xmarks members up there but who knows...

Well I know I won't be anywhere near the North Bay area this weekend. But we wish you all the best in your venture at that event! I was quite disappointed to read that the Sarnia games have been cancelled this year. We've faithfully attended that event for the last 5 years. My wife and I are, however, planning to attend the games in Maxville this year. (North American Pipe Band Championships). A "must see at least once" for anyone that appreciates a really big mass band!

This year I've adjusted my festival schedule to be close to home this year for my daughter and wife. but next year I'll be at it any xmarkers in Ontario come drop by the CCK booth and say hi I'll be the one in a kilt.

The Western Canada listings on Xmarks are up to date. Of course the guy filling those in is pretty good

I did notice some 2005 dates on the site Robert listed. I also noticed some games that apparently had been cancelled, but I will check those out. Thanks for the link.
