Not Victorinox, but in a similar vein....

The German version of the report had an picture of the completed kilt! Strange that it wasn't on the English page.

I somehow managed to miss this report in the Swiss press.

The tartan looks great. I'm going to have to add this one to my list.

Is it just me, or does he look a bit self conscious in his new kilt?

One branch of my family (Imboden) came from the German speaking part of Switzerland.

It is indeed a fine looking tartan. I'm partial to the reds anyway.

Wow! The picture of the completed kilt looks sharp & really brings it to life (even if the gent wearing it does look a bit self-conscious). I have to admit, the predominantly red tartans often don't catch my eye as quickly (w/ definite exceptions), but I like this one quite a bit. The symbolism behind the color & sett of the kilt is quite appropriate as well.
