    Unhappy Kilt Tragedy!

    AAAAHHHHGGGG!

    Kilt Tragedy!


    after a lang and guid nicht oot oan the toon...

    an after... (ai'll admit) aboot 10 tae many malts....

    ai stripped aff (as ya do!)

    an ai put my new Union Kilt (blackwatch, low cost polyblendthing)

    .... oan a shelf where ai aften put my kilts...

    an whilst ai wuz in the loo...

    the damn thing fell aff the shelf an oan tae mai bedside halogen lamp...

    Emma smelled the burnin...

    by the time ai pulled it frae the lamp... it wuz a goner...

    the poly had melted!



    it's a sad day lads... a kilt has deid.....

    Sad to see the death of a kilt, especially a young one. Just shows how inflammable these acrylic kilts are. Better remember not to wear mine again when I go flying. Wore it on Friday instead of an expensive wool kilt because old aeroplanes dribble oil everywhere and I didn't want to dirty a good kilt.

    Sad Sad News, just be thankful it was not one of your wool ones--can you claim on the insurance, tell them it was wool, not that I would do something like that.
