    Hey and ????

I got two packages in today, one FedEx from Sk with Amber and my Californias - YES !!!! buckles, no velcro !!! (since I ordered one from He Who Shall Not Be Named in Vancouver last year and they never showed up, SK comes through).
The second box though contained my X Marks fabric. Huh? I had previously excanged e-mails with Steve about having him build my X Marker like his with the hidden slash pockets but his computer seems to boot my return messages into the ether. Oh well ya can't win 'em all.
I'll take it out of the box once in a while and look at it til I find a builder for it.

I sent my Operation Iraqi Freedom: PSD tartan to Barb Tewksbury, and she did an amazing job on it. I would highly recommend her. She works in New York, but she is in Iceland right now. I'm sure you can send her a PM and over the next couple of days get back to you. You wont be sorry.

Steve is probably in the middle of moving his shop across the street. I'm still expecting a navy FK from him any day now, but my guess is I won't see it until sometime in August now.

I got a message from Steve two days ago. He said mine is on the way. I'm in the 3rd group of the second run.

    Cameron,

With the total chaos that has been around here we goofed and shipped your X Marks Tartan. Sorry about that. If you still want a Dress Model X Marks, please send the fabric back. I'll re-imburse you for the shipping.

    Rex,

Your kilt is almost done. It should be in the mail this week. Of course we may have made it with the pleated part at the top and the beltloops around your knees.

To all who have had to put up with my fried brain I apologize.

    efer,

There should still be enough fabric left. If you still want a kilt pm me with your real name so I can check the records and see where I goofed (again).

My X Marks kilt is progressing but with the shop move (to the electrician - you want HOW much to do the wiring!?!?!?!?!), settling Mom's estate (Tue in DC with the nephews - Wed in Maryland with the Aunt's - Thu in Philly with the sister - and Fri with the Kilt Night with Rocky and Kelly - Sat in Saracuse Sun back in Va, Mon back to BC to build new walls in the shop. Then there is the ever present Honey-do list of house renovations, AND KILTS TO MAKE!!!

I think I'll just put a nipple on a bottle of Scotch, go to bed and wake up when it's all over.

    Thanks!

Are you certain it wasn't a X-Marks Great Kilt?
