Clan Leather Works
Doing a little surfing I stumbled on these guys.
The prices are nothing special but they offer a different look.

They are a little expensive for my tastes. However, they are going to be at the Williamsburg Scottish festival next month, so I'll check out their booth and try and take some pics. For you NorVA guys, I think they are going to be in Alexandria too. Here are the dates:
Alexandria on Sept 16
Williamsburg on Sept 30

The deerhide one look nice. But I'd rather get two Freelanders for the same price (and a more finished look to boot).

And after looking thru thier site, you'll see that they have NO INTEREST in selling over the internet. They only sell direct at the games? I imagine they are missing out on a huge market, but it's their business.

My Guess: at the prices they charge they may have to rely on the immediate gratification factor at the games, combined with a sales pitch about quality and uniqueness. There is just too much competition on the internet.

Interesting, Mineral is about 1/2 hour from my place.
