Edinburgh on the "Travel Channel"
I'm not sure when it first aired. But, I purchased it on Itunes a couple of nights ago. Biding my weekend duty time watching it on my video Ipod in the lab. Pretty good episode. They do the deep fried candy bar thing? Had never heard of that. There is a few minutes with an older gent walking through the park in a kilt and red/white diced balmoral. He explains some history of traditional Highland attire. Military tattoo is covered towards the end... Pretty neat....

Scotland is notorious for the high level of heart disese in the country. Is it any surprise we invented the deep fried Mars bar?
Never had one myself, that just would seem to be going a little too far in my book.
I'm glad I don't get to see shows like that though, it would make me pretty homesick.

I've been told the Mars bar in Scotland isn't the same as the Mars bar in the US, it's more like what we call a Snickers bar. Is that correct?

That's correct Bubba. And what you and I call a Three Musketeers is a Milky Way in Alba.
