Does anyone know of an online source for 8-10 ounce cotton poly twill? It seems that the few fabric stores left around here carry it only seasonally, and this is the wrong season. I am also looking for 13 - 16 ounce wool twill for kilting, preferably with kilting selvedge and hard finish, but at this point I am not picky, in a solid wine or claret color. Any help would be appreciated.
Tartan poly cotton: http://www.thescottishweaver.com/pol...edtartans.html As for twill wool, well . . . the South is not the best place to find ANY wool. I know of 1 good place (in Abbeville, SC, though, I'm not sure how "hard" any of it is. It IS 100% wool and aimed at reenactors). http://www.96districtstorehouse.com/ You might want to try a more northern-based site. I'm sure one of our kilted friends may help.
Thanks for the response. Sorry, I wasn't clear about the first first fabric. I am looking for it, the 8-10 ounce cotton poly twill, in a solid wine or claret color as well. Thanks.
How much of the Claret Poly/Cotton do you want? I carry it as a stock fabric in my shop. Already cut to kilt width.

This link is for a cotton twill, but in a heavier weight, probably around 10 oz. http://www.fabric.com/apparel-fashio...ll-fabric.aspx Dale
