Ewan McGregor in Jan -'07 Men's Journal

There's an article about him and a photo of Ewan kilted, accompanied by his wife.

I think he wears a kilt in
    "A life less ordinary"
    With Cameron Diaz

At the end during a wedding scene.

    You are correct.
He is also kilted in claymation during the closing credits of that movie. It is the MacGregor tartan.

Does he ever don a kilt in trainspotting? I seem to think he did in a scene, but am not sure.

It's a good one. I say it on TV and bought it on DVD. My wife first saw it on the DD and ragged me on the "chick-flick." But after she watched it, se saw why I liked it. Let's say it is just a tad "off" in all the best ways!
