We showed up to the concert an hour early. It was sold out, but the Manager said we could wait and see if there were any no-shows. {there weren't. Standing room only!} About 30 Minutes before the concert we were allowed to go into the best seats in the house! Dougie of course was just wonderful! He's a great story teller as well as singer. I was the only one kilted. {sadly no cameras allowed} At the end, He was signing autographs, and smiled when I walked up. He asked if I had a groundhog sporran like the guy he saw last night. We got our cd's autographed and I got him to sign one our Dead Elvis Kilt Society flyers. "Dead Elvis kilt Society, DEAD ELVIS KILT SOCIETY!" When it sunk in, He almost fell off the table, and asked if he could have one. He said he wished that the rest of The group could have been there. He is truely a great guy and I really am glad that I was able to get my beloved Celtic Goddess in to see his show. I hope that she enjoyed it as much as she seemed to. I enjoyed hearing her sing along, she has a voice the angels would envy. This was a wonderful night! I only wish there were pics.
