Raphael and I have always thought of a rotating kilt night to augment the Vancouver one at Doolin's on the first Thursday of the month.
One month we add one in Victoria, the next in Burnaby, the next in Richmend, the next in Port Moody, the next in Langley.
The guy that lives closest to those areas picks the pub and sets it up (try and get some specials).
I know there are that live in the Vancouver core that never actually leave Vancouver, and there are those of us in the burbs that have a tough time getting downtown (it's more the issue coming back late at night) for a few pints.
Let's spread it out. At least people will make it to the ones closer to their homes, and we have the Doolin's night as a regular gig anyway if we want.

Please post when you get it ironed out (no kilted pun intended). I'll be rolling through Van again this fall but I haven't hammered out all the details yet.
Celtic Colours in NS is the target for this year's musical festivities.
CT - kilted on train 1 or 2 ....

If I were to plan a Kilts night in Burnaby, I would pick The Firefighter Pub at Metrotown. Lots of Free Parking and close to transit(skytrain/bus).

Just to be clear, I was asking if you were volunteering to organize this kilt night. It IS a great pub. I would be willing to help you though I have no idea what is needed. PM me if you think this is something that can be done. I am your humble servant.

Thanks for Volunteering, Mike. I will let you know what is needed. May be we should use the St.Patrick's Day to kick off the Burnaby Kilts Night.
Btw, this is the 3rd weekend of the month, are we heading down to Atlantic Trapp and Grill?

Karen and I have a massive road trip coming up in April/May. We might be passing through the Vancouver area on our way home sometime around May 3rd or 4th. Maybe. Our road trips generally don't have a destination or itinerary, although we'd love to hit Vancouver for a kilt night so we can finally get to meet everyone. As the time gets closer I'll try to confirm things.
