All these quotes have me thinking: should we contact Hilfiger and let them know about their new ad campaign? (for kilts of course)

I just found this picture online, and I'm won't make fun of these people, because it looks like their having a great time, which is truly what it's all about. I was looking at this picture though and I thought i'd bring up the topic of shoes again. It looks like only one of the guys all the way on the left is wearing decent shoes. I know that black typically looks the best, but are their other options out there other than black Ghillies?

I think the only don't is the socks and sandals. I don't plan on ever buying Ghillies.

Personally...over the cliff is the best place for a chevy!!!

Now, if he had lost a REAL muscle car...like a '69 Charger...that would be reason to mourn.

Well when I am @ W3rk, my shirt is proscribed. Only steel toed boots in my area, and the only ones that would fit my mangled foot were in oxblood. So I do my best, and wear a smile with my kilt.

I see that my supplier has black now, so I will be getting those.

I like plain black oxfords when in more civilized situations. I have worn my brown and ox blood birkenstock casual oxfords but I have no idea how proper it all is. Since nobody around me knows a thing about kilts I kind of have to do my own thing with the best advice I can find on here.

Can we PLEASE stay on topic?

Do I have to remind everyone...this is a kilt do's and dont's topic, not a "discuss shoewear and where we'll all buy them" topic. Anyway, in the spirit of good fun and a nice example of a Kilt "do":

DO wear your kilt with a pretty woman at your side to the point where people say "he was wearing a kilt? I didn't notice...."

David Arquette is the kilted one...BTW....oops I've been corrected. It's some dude named Thomas Jane. And apparently he was wearing a kilt. Again, hard to visualize the kilt :-)

    Unh-unh. That's Thomas Jane, Patricia Arquette's husband.

    Now, back to the shoes.
