Very stylish as usual Jamie, interesting how the "loud" McLeod looks in different lights.
Was the guy with the wand a wizard?

Great pictures. The first Utilikilts I saw were on crew of roofers in Portland and I knew I had to have a workmans. My son has worn a tartan kilt in Portland but he says the more casual, solid color kilts are more the norm.

nah....he meant his wife filled with beer! heheheheh
LARP stuff looks like fun. Do you play with a "set" of rules? I've heard of something called NERO which was started on the east coast of the US but is now played all over the world.
oh...and I think the F-H.C.A.G.'s shield is...uhm...anatomically correct!!

Looks like you all had fun. I didn't notice anything unusual about The F-H.A.C.G.'s shield, obviously just an over-sized targe
Panache, I think someone on the UK groups list spoke to you, he reports regretting that he wasn't wearing his kilt at the time.
Best regards,
Jake

PERSONALLY.....
and this is just me.
I think the F-HC.A.G. needs a *much* smaller shield
so we can see more of her costume!
BTW, I really like your costume.

Great news as I'm headed for Portland for my daughter's wedding the end of August. She want me to wear a kilt in the wedding—brilliant young women, my daughter.

"The old hometown looks the same, as I step down from the train, and there to meet me is my mamma and papa. Down the road I look and there runs Mary, hair of gold and lips like cherries, oh its good to touch the green green grass of home."
Thanks for a little nostalgia from the wetlands I left behind in 1966.

Good to see the water in the Willamette is blue now...I remember it as brown, but not thick enough to walk on. And steelhead in Johnson Creek....

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
