Greetings from the Wet Coast
Thought I would stop by to say a quick hello from Victoria, British Columbia. I'm a sew-er and part-time clothing designer who likes to learn new sewing techniques. In general, the more complicated or intriguing the pattern the better. I must admit that I probably have sewed most of the men's sewing patterns that are currently out there that I'm interested in sewing, so I figured a Kilt was definitely next on the list and I haven't been disappointed.
Currently I'm trying my hand at making my first X-Kilt out of black poly-cotton twill and I'm most of the way through- just need to add some snaps and I'm done. I'll try to post pictures once I'm done assuming our digital camera has enough image quality.
Oh and I'd just like to give a shout-out to Wizard of BC, Steve Ashton, who's given me a few nifty tips on this project.
Thank you for having me,
~Topstitch

I'm surprised to hear Victoria referred to as the wet coast; I spent three and a half weeks there and never saw a drop of rain till the morning I set off for home.
