Interesting fact: Minnesota, the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" actually has 11,842 lakes, while Wisconsin, being the superior in almost every way, has a whopping 14,927 lakes.
If you are looking for a cabin, may I suggest the Minocqua area? Our cabin is on Big Carr Lake and we couldn't have a better location.

As someone who is pushing the City of New York to accept officially the tartan ALREADY designed for us , I appreciate your efforts and applaud you.

Ok, I have to ask, would this require an extra large clan badge?

Yep. Looks like this.
(Just funnin' with my MN Vikings fan friends...we live right on the border of the two states.)

I have one, too. Another sidenote: These float nicely in a hot tub and can keep your bowl of chips dry...and the original ones had spots that beverage cans fit in nicely, too... Really!
But it takes them FOREVER to dry out!!
Back on topic, I personally prefer the Wisconsin State tartan, but I lived there for several years before moving here, so I'm not an unbiased judge.

I'm originally from Wisconsin, but have been living in Minnesota for the last 14 years.
I much prefer the Wisconsin tartan over the Minnesota tartan.
(I feel much the same way about professional American Football teams).
