Uuh huh - dis the place on dur net I on'y visit wid der metal bits all made shiny and be sure der colours all go toge'dr proper.
On some places dey say - you troll, go away - which is bad and cru'll when I just ask a question 'cos I want to know - not my fault if dey not even as clever as me.
Oh yes, dis place make me think silicacious org'nisms on'y allowed if dey behave proper and scrape off der lichen, and maybe take der nail out of der club too. Like when yer aver'j troll goes to see bout joining der City Watch in Ankh Morpork - if you don't look right to Mister Vimes, the Duke, you got no chance. He looks harder though, deeper 'n most.
And dat Mister Shine - him diamond.
Like der mods, dey is carbon based, but carbon can be der best, sumtimes.
(With apologies to various characters from Terry Pratchett's Disk World novels. Blame a week laid up in bed with an attack of the sneezles, a low fever and a tall stack of TP's novels.)

Let me add my thanks also to the efforts of the Moderators to keep this forum friendly. It is the place I go every day to read, although not so often post.
Equal thanks to the members who share their interests and their lives with the rest of us.
Respectfully,
Tom

Simple, it is against the rules of the forum and everyone here agreed to follow those rules when when they signed up. We like to have a site where people are respectful of others and their opinions. This is not the site for people that want to argue simply for the sake of arguing. If you wanted heated debate I am sure there are other sites on the net that pride themselves on providing that.

On some forums, nothing. X-marks has its own culture, however, which frowns on anything that ruffles too many feathers (er, wrinkles too many pleats?) It can be frustrating at times, but it's one of those things one either accepts or moves on.
Best regards,
Jake
P.S. Arlen, loved your illustrated recap.

I'm just glad I don't have to do the job. Thanks, fellows.
