What's up
Hey y'all! I'm a relatively newcomer to the kilted community. I purchased a khaki AK in June 07, and I'm getting the supplies (and nerves) to start on my own X-Kilt.

The Art of Kilt Making
from Boston, Massachusetts
Get Barbara Tewksbury's Book The art of kiltmaking. It will guide you through to a perfect kilt. Believe me it is worth every penny, and if you have questions, she is a regular on the D.I.Y. forum on this board. I made my first kilt, a self colour denim, before reading her book. I can wear it around hereas not to many people will notice the flaws. After reading her book, I was able to figure out everything I did wrong, and how much faster it would have been to do it right. I own a green AK, and two SWKs, and have a USAK bespoke. I have sewn three more kilts in my spare time, all wearing great since following her book.
Again Welcome to ye Rabble.
