Kilt Hanger by Order of the Gael
So there was a booth at the Phoenix Highland Games selling kilt carrying kits and kilt hangers.
Know I've been frustrated trying to find a quality hanger for my hand sewn kilts. I like this company's design and I bought one hanger to try out for $17. I really like it. Think I'm gonna order up eight more for my hand sewn kilts.
Just seems really silly to pay around $500 for a hand sewn kilt then hang it from a plastic clip hanger or other inexpensive hanger. These puppies can also hold a kilt jacket.
Its a three crossbar rig.

Company is out of Las Vegas, NV.
Here's how they say to use the hanger

Wondering if anyone else has experience with this product?
I'm impressed so far.

I think I might get a few, I can't properly hang my kilt and it messes up the pleats!

That DOES sound like the perfect answer to my frustration with hanging my tanks, even with kilt carriers available.
Ron, please let us know how you find their use over time.

I saw those at the games, too, and was intrigued by them. I'm a little concerned, though, as to whether the notch in the hanger will weaken the structural integrity.

I looked at the notches too. But there's a cross brace above them and the three solid wires below, and the wood is hardwood and the only weight on the outsides to break them would be the weight of a jacket.
Am gonna ask him if they can be available without the notch.
But how cool will it be to hang my X Marks vest up on the same hanger as my X Marks kilt??
The crossbar makes a nice place to put my matching tartan (sorry Ham).
And, I just clip my ziplock bag with flashes onto one of the clips.
I'm likin' this thing.

Ron - have you tried the wooden kilt hangers from Stillwater Kilts? I hang all mine on these and find they are just great.

Think I'll have to order one of those also. Thanks for posting the link. Like you I think that is doesn't make much sense to hang an exspensive kilt on a couple of cheap plastic hangers.
