    Utilikilt brings the ladies!

so i didn't think it was true. I mean I am not an attractive guy. so last night my church had a lock-in for our 6-8th grade children. they asked the 9-12grade to help run it. I said yes.

the main game that lasted probably 4 hours was risk. except it was not a board game. we split the senior high into 4 teams and then assigned them about 15 junior high kids. the 4 teams had a corner of the gymnasium and owned the territories there, it was up to us to decide what territory was worth what point value, 5, 10, 15, or 25. then we put kids in like you would figures in risk. when you attack you choose how many of your kids to invade the other team. instead of rolling dice the kids had to play little mini games, like who can get the most clothespins clipped to their face in 1 minute. the advantage came in where you have more people so in that case instead of clipping your own face you would have 3 others help clip you.

needless to say I helped create the game. I am a huge strategy fan. ANYWAYS, I showed up in my tan UK original. I figured well, it I have to be up all night running around playing basketball or chasing these youngins I want real comfort. The Kilt was awesome for the game because it looked like I had planned it because I was one of the team leaders.

anyways I was with my other team captains and one of the moms their was getting some pictures so she wanted one of my kilt. immediately 3 girls were right there. it was the coolest thing. 3 of my good friends and classmates just showed up and well heres the result:

and if your interested here are 2 shots from the game:

I am really stoked with the results that I get when i go kilted in public. these 3 girls all know I wear a kilt regularly and they are all totally cool with it and I think that its awesome!

    Casey,
It is totally cool to have the young ladies of your peer group be attracted to you in your kilt. I hope that you realize that it is not the Utilikilt that has attracted them, but the kilt wearer. Women of all ages run on emotion. You may not be a Tom Brady Look-alike, but you are saying, by wearing the kilt proudly, that you are unique and not a follower, but a leader. Your interest in participation in a caring environment, that is the care of those younger than you in a nurturing way, is also a big turn on. You are playing with a hand full of Aces! Beauty is not always the outward physical appearance, but is what is spiritually within. Take that clothespin and run with it. You are the real winner here.

steveb- Wow, thanks! it really is great to hear something like that.

Riverkilt- thats a really good Idea! I am going to be doing so! only some of those questions trip me up like the if we showed up what beer would you buy us? I don't drink due to that whole only 18 thing. but oh well. I'll figure it out.

    thanks!
    ~Casey

I forgot to mention this earlier, the clothespins on the face there, that kid let 3 people put 58 on his face. It was quite hilarious!

You could offer them different brands of Rootbeer! Sounds like quite the night, and I bet these kids will be talking about it for a long time.
