You could also try swordsdirect.com, they have an extensive collection, even down to movie swords.

We're getting away from the original subject, which was if people might be interested in getting together on an order. I have to say that I am, but am still a starving student, so can't do so any time soon. Check with me this time next year, I should be in the regular work force by then.

    It Ain't Gonna Be Cheap

The cost for a broadsword, with full civilian etching on the blade (including your name), and the proper leather scabbard (not a military Sam Browne scabbard) is going to be US $1500.00 plus shipping and insurance. A discount (to be determined, but probably about 10%) will be available if five or more swords are ordered at the same time.

Because swords are made by hand, it is more cost effective at the factory (located about 25 miles outside of London) to make the swords in batches rather then in single orders.

Hands up, those of you with deep pockets and the desire to own simply the best broadsword made in the UK.

Those are some very nice examples, and don't appear to be simply "movie stunt blades." Wish I could go in with you on one for myself, but too many other obligations at this time.

I'm thinking very hard and leaning towards a yes. When do you need to put in the order?

I'd like to put in the order by the end of the month, it that works for everyone.

That should give me enough time to come up with reasons why I need one.
