It is quite spring out today. I was just out in the yard, in a Buzz Kidder canvas of course, and there is a very, very, slight breeze. It's warm enough to wear sandals, and I noticed how nice it is to have the air flowing around my legs, a little sun. I just stood there for a few minutes.
* I've been doing a little bit of digging out back, and getting a couple of things ready. It's pretty warm today. A nice day.
* I found another patch of weeds cropping up, but I think I got all of them. This happens when we have a wet winter and beginning of spring.
That canvas tool pouch is working out very, very well. I am even able to carry the phone in there. That was a big problem before because on a kilt it doesn't work so well to clip the phone to the top of the kilt. In pants, putting it in a back pocket usually ends up turning on the phone and maybe even calling someone, that could be a strange call.
It does a good job, and the velcro holds well with weight. It's also very nice to be able to just peal it off on the way in from the garden.
* I won't be up as late tonight. It's been a long day. It's usually nice to do a little work out there in the garden late in the evening, but I'm just worn out. The strange thing is that it isn't a quiet night. There are cars rumbling around, and they're not the drag racers either... Guess it's just the city coming.
It's cool enough in the evening that the knee highs are still needed. It's still nice though. in a couple of months it will start to get very hot, and I do my best to stay in my air conditioned bedroom.

Adding to that last post, when I got up early this morning to feed the cats, it was a bit cool in my cottage. I have stopped using my heater for the year; I was turning it on for a while in the morning to warm things up a bit. This is the way it is out here in the boonies of the desert; there isn't as much concrete and so on to hold in the heat so it goes from warm to cool over night. There really is a difference on in to the citie areas. All that being said, the footprint of the Phoenix area is quite tiny compared to the size of the desert.
I just put on those knee highs that I wear with my casual kilt because they're nice and warm. Things are a little mixed up around here right now, so I'm not sure what I'll be working on today, I feel like wearing my BZK though.

The snow is gone, it's sorta springy-ish. We had two lovely days and now it is raining. Typical Kentucky

It's good to hear from you again, String. I was just out getting the last of the navel oranges off the tree, and picking up the ones that have fallen off the tree. I still have bunches of grapefruits.
* It's started to get windy out. I was working on the trees a little, but it's getting dusty out there... I'm sure there will be dust finding it's way in here too...
* Saturday 15, that would be tomorrow, my sister is getting married.

Well, my sister just got married a little while ago. I was there by phone, which worked out ok. It's kind of funny and weird. I found out she was moving the wedding date up to March back fifty pages ago during the gas leak. There was just too much going on to deal with figuring out how to get over there. I've been busy with all kinds of things today, but it's been fun.
Out there in the garden, the California poppies are still blooming and at least one of my prickley pears is blooming. The yucca is having puppies, and the tiger aloes are still blooming kind of... Garlic and elephent garlic is doing well.
* I have removed all the pictures of gardening from this thread. *

I have enjoyed creating and sharing posts in this thread over the last few months. Now that I have posted the much needed pictures, I can let the thread rest. If there are posts here in the future, I will respond.
Thank you from The Garden Bunny.
I'm moving the photo essay over to a different thread.
