I'm going to impose on the group and shamelessly plug my buddy, John Devens' concert series at The World Music Company venue down here on the glorious South Side of Chicago.

John does get several good Celtic musicians and groups through the year...most notably the annual Liz Carroll show which is usually sold out even before it's announced.

In the upcoming couple a months, he has:

Munnelly, Flaherty & Masure on April 19th

Gan Bua on May 10th

The Willis Family on May 31st

...details are on the website: http://www.worldfolkmusiccompany.com/

...you will note that I left out the Taiko Drumming group that shows up on May 17th...just didn't seem Celtic enough...

Anyway, WMC is a not for profit and has tried to get some different musicians to play down here in this vast cultural (and, aside from me, apparently kilt-less) wasteland that we call The South Side. John has booked some pretty ethnically diverse acts. Should any of you in the area be interested, fer sure go...it's a nice venue.

Best
