They look great on the girls.

A local pub, The Crooked Kilt, has all the girls in one. A couple of shots can be found here: http://www.thecrookedkilt.com/Community/Community.htm

My wife has two SK skirts- one mini and one full length. She likes the mini, but feels it's too revealing, especially since we do a lot of outdoors type stuff. She wants a hiking kilt, but we haven't had the money to get one- yet. However, she has one of the full length skirts and loves it. It looks great on her, and was worth the money we paid for it. So personally- as a guy who doesn't like seeing women in short skirts- I say go for either the hiking kilt or the full lenght skirt. They're really nicely made and you really can't go wrong with either.
