Thanks for the fantastic pictures. That looks like some wonderful fishing!
I'm sorry to hear that you fell in. I hope you're recovered now?
I'm going to be heading up to Invernesshire in a month or so and I hope to get a good bit of fishing in. (Since I am told my nice, stout, Scottish fly-rod might be a bit too stiff to use when I get over to the states.)

Arlen - bring the rod. There is some great salmon fishing in Idaho and on the west coast in Oregon and Washington states, as well as British Columbia.

Thanks for sharing those pics with us, Jock.
These are good pics, it is unfortunate that your camera drowned in an attempt to obtain even better ones.

Thanks for the beautiful pics--very sorry you lost the others. They remind me of one of my favorite movies (which even includes a kilted piper scene) "A River Runs Through It." Ever see that one?

I'll be camping near Loch Ness and doing some of the 'touristy' stuff once more before I leave. Culloden and the like. (I've not seen the new visitor's centre, yet.)
Most of the time I will be just relaxing, hiking and fishing.

Jock,
I would not have laughed the other day had I realised your camera was lost.
These photos are beautiful although I have no interest in angling. Like Dee, I can appreciate the scenery, however.
Thank you.
Take care,
Ham.

Jock,
Wonderful photos! Inspite of pdcorlis' encouragement my fly fishing gear has remained in a pure and untouched state (much like Grant).
In regards to "Catch and Release" I have been informed in no uncertain terms by my Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess that the first suitable fish I ever catch will fall under the catagory "Catch and broil with herb butter and serve to the F-H.C.A.G." .

Cheers

Jock,
Sorry to hear about your camera. Thanks though for sharing these pictures with us. I've always wanted to try my hand a flyfishing, but have never had the oportunity. That sure looks like a beautiful setting in which to give it a go.
