The BBC in the UK have started a competition to find the best amateur choir. Last night was a real treat with a group of young people from St Andrew's university singing. The mixed choir was entirely kilted - and they looked -and sounded - very good. Catch their performance at:

I've been enjoying the show too. Formt however is identical to the Simon Cowell presentations.

It was great watching the show and of course (kilts aside) I had to root for them coming as they do from my Alma Mater!

They were a little rocky in places which the judges noted so it was a relief that they got through and I hope they smooth their performance out for the next round!
