Coming to Las Vegas... In a Kilt

So I'm going to be in Las Vegas for the Frozen Fury hockey game in two weeks. I am going to the game in my kilt and hoping that I won't be the only one there in one... Are there any other X Marker kilties in Vegas? And if so, how kilt-friendly is Vegas? Any good places to go out for a good time? I've never been to Vegas and am sooo stoked for this trip...

You are going to have a blast!! Las Vegas is one of my most favorite places to go. It is very kilt-friendly there, too. My wife and I spent a week in Vegas in Apr. 2007, and I did not pack any bifurcated garments at all. Aside from a few odd looks all I got was positive comments.
One word of warning though...be very careful when going over the air vent grates in some of the sidewalks. Don't ask me how I know. LOL

How would you know that's a problem?

I was in vegas for a week in august, kilted half the time with some friends. It's a kilt friendly city because a kilt is almost normal compared to some of hte bizzare things you can find there =)

Spent the week before that in Denver and went kilted for a few days there too.

Been to Las Vegas kilted often. Never a negative reaction ever. Lots of atta boys and running into other kilties.

Go for it, enjoy. Be sure and stop in at Nine Irish Gentlemen Irish pub in New York, New York.

I can back this up. I was there this past June on a Thursday night. Great band, and lots of fun people. A bunch of Irish and Scots there, and 1 Brit. Funny thing was there was a hot Irish chick married to a Scot. They talked a lot of stuff, but in a fun way. You won't regret going here.

Gambling in Vegas does not always mean you'll lose. We won enough to completely pay for our vacation last year by playing the quarter slots. Play for fun, just don't expect to win. When and if you do win you'll be pleasantly surprised.
