Dargan's Pub would be a great place for afters on Saturday....it's not to far from the fairground and they have great food.

It looks like I'm coming down solo for this one. My two training buddies have backed out and Panche and the F-H.C.A.G. have a conflict. OK, well then it will be an ADVENTURE!!!

I would like to plan both a meet-up at the Games and at Dargan's on Saturday night. Here are my suggestions, just to get the discussion started:

1. Bob and I will be "based" out of the Clan Donnachaidh (donna'-key) tent and it could be our 11 a.m. meeting point.

2. Dargan's at 6:30 for a before-dinner round, dinner at 7? We should probably try to get a count and make reservations by this coming Tuesday, assuming they take reservations. I will collect the count and make the call if folks respond in this thread.

Open for suggestions!

I'm throwing, and so is Josh ( I assume) and I 'm pretty sure we won't be "free" until noon. However, I can trek over to clan Donnachaidh right around noon-ish, no problem. That sounds like a good place to hook up about 4:30-5:00, as well. I'm up for drinks, dinner and what-have-you, so sign me on.

Last year the 50+ Masters class was pretty small, ditto the 60+, which they often group together so that means we *might* be finished early. Josh is probably throwing in the "B" Open class, so he throws on Saturday as well.

I'm here (at work, with computer access) today, and I'll have access at home tonight, but tomorrow I'm throwing at Ben Lomond, and then Sunday the Luminous Joan and I are taking off for four days in a cabin at 9,000 feet, a little north of Mammoth Lakes. 'tain't got no computer access upthere YAAAAYYY! I'll be back here in the Bay Area on Friday, and then Friday night I drive down to Ventura. I will likely sleep in the back of the pickup truck, somewhere around the campground. I'll PM my cell phone number to sydnie7 and a couple other folks, but of course I won't have it on me while I'm throwing.

If anybody wants to shoot some video of me throwing so I can put it up at Naasga and get some commentary, that'd be awfully cool..**hint, hint*

I plan to stick around on Sunday until about 3:00, might volunteer to help pull tape for the Novices, or throw with them and see if I can help out the new guys with some starter technique, we'll see. Then again, I might just hang out wit' y'all. kilted in USMC is throwing in the C's and they throw on Sunday so let's give him a shout!
