The mild nights here in the land of USAK and AK are almost over.
    But not yet.
It is currently 64F with medium humidity and no wind. I’m sitting outside in comfort in my (320 gram microfiber) SK Hiking Kilt.
I did don (cotton) hose because it is a little damp.

I love Autumn too. But tomorrow it's predicted to be 87F.

Gotta get me a wooly for the cooler days in California. "Cooler" doesn't happen here until late November (especially the past several years), but it'll come. Hopefully SWK will have a solid green wooly in my size by then...

I agree about autumn. I love it here in the Carolinas, we have a full four season climate, but the winters are truly mild. Here in the Sandhills we get a good snow about every 5-7 years. Summers are hot, but not as bad as the Mid West where I have lived before. It at least cools off at night!

The only kilts I have are wool tanks, and wear them year round, 13 oz. My next will be 16 oz, but no heavier though. The leaves are just starting to turn here, but it still can get quite warm on sunny days.

"A little damp" indeed. At this moment we're having a thunderstorm -- uncommon for 30 September.
I spoke too soon -- I'm now sitting just inside my open garage. I changed into a Celtic Croft Economy Kilt.
    Does 45% wool count?
