That's a great review, Hamish! I have been looking at Alphakilts for awhile now, I guess after such a rave review from the mighty Kollection Knight, I'll have to bump them up on my "Kilt Wish List". Thanks a bunch!

Whilst the washing instructions state "Cold wash", my washing machine does not have such a setting and so I risked giving it a 30ºC programme. Upon completion, I switched to a short spin then removed the kilt from the machine to hang-dry in the open air in the garden, where it was cool and cloudy.

When I say that it had dried thoroughly within an hour, without a single crease and absolutely ready for wear, I am not exaggerating. I was very impressed because most of the other poly-cotton kilts in The Kollection have needed at least a quick going over with an iron immediately after similar treatment.

    Thank you again, Daron.

    Take care,
    Ham.

I have a tan box-pleated Alphakilt and had the same experience with mine. I washed in cold, tossed in the dryer *gasp* on the delicate cycle for about 30 minutes. Pulling the kilt out of the dryer, giving the pleats a gentle tug, it was ready to wear. I am most impressed with the excellent kilt Daron produced.
