That looks great Alan! Nice dog behind you there in the photos. I saw a dog named "Bony" last week. Didn't look quite like that one though.

So, are you coming to the extra Beer Friday this week, and if so, are you wearing the Lindsay? Just trying to get my clothing choices sorted out.

Ran into some Lindsays at the Pleasanton Games. They were very impressed that I knew their tartan, and seemed surprised that I would wear Macleod if I had any other choice!

    Be well,

That's a real beauty, Alan. Well done! I have long had a liking for the Lindsay tartan, but have never done anything about it. Maybe you have caused me to adjust my Wants List!

    Take care,
    Ham.

    Nice Looks Guy!

Alan, Lindsay is my SO's tartan but she's convinced she likes the weathered version better. I personally like the deep wine color of the modern variant.

I may have to get a 13oz 8 yarder from Rocky in Lindsay Modern. It's such a great, understated but sophisticated looking tartan.

Maybe if Chris sees the tartan in person, she would change her mind about it.

    Ray

p.s., her other tartans are Craig and McEwen.

Looks great Alan. I liked it so much that I jumped on my bike and rode over to pick-up the last of the tartan from K&F. That was the easy part - now I have to try to make my first kilt - yikes!

...The F-H.C.A.G. has a skirt in the same tartan....so do two of the beer goddesses, and the fiddle player in my band....
What's your band's name and what kind of music do you play??

    Very nice "DIY" kilt, BTW.
