I got my kilt back today. Yeaa!! But it's wrinkled. What's the best way to get it unwrinkled? Will hanging it in the bathroom with the shower on do it?
Steam from a kettle works well too. I presume it's not cotton because you could just iron it. I used to iron my Poly V. Bear kilt until I got one of those steam jugs

No it's wool. 17 oz.
I'd pick up a $20 hand steamer from "Linens an Things" (or wherever). Mine is the best $20 I've spent in a long time. Nukes wrinkles in a few passes on all of my kilts.
Or you could just hang it up and do nothing. The weight of the wool will probably ease out the wrinkles in a day or two.
Thanks for the advice. The hand steamer sounds good. I did get most all of the wrinkles out by hanging it in the bath with the shower on for 10 minutes. Geez i should have taken a shower LOL.
I just hang mine in the bathroom. After my two brothers and I are done taking our morning showers, the kilt looks fine!
had a few "wrinkles" in my kilt and justing hanging it seems to take out any creases or "wrinkles" (also a slang name for an old person in NZ i.e - nah cuz gotta wait for the wrinkles / fossils to go out first...)
This is what I just picked up for getting rid of wrinkles found it at the local flea market it's a Redfern Garment Steamer and it seems to work wonderfully.
