    This is a great post there is a book called the Mark of the scots by duncan a. bruce that has tons of things scots invented and how they traveled the world over and made things better it's a great book.

    There is a great book, "How the Scots Invented the Modern World" by Arthur Herman that was a NY Times Bestseller. Check it out for a complete chronicle of the Scottish influence on the world.
